ELMAG's new generation of MAGNEPULS machines.

1964

ELMAG's staff members participated in the introduction of the first electromagnetic metalforming machine in industry. It was used to assemble ball joints at Saginaw Steering Gear, Division of GM Corp.

1965

ELMAG's staff members applied electromagnetic metal forming technology at Saginaw Steering Gear, Division of GM Corp. to assemble rubber boots to CV joints for the Oldsmobile Toronado front wheel drive.

1977

ELMAG's staff members designed a 4-kJ magneform machine for the Gillette Company to assemble propane pocket lighter components at a rate of 3 pieces per second.

1984

ELMAG MAGNEPULS machine designed and built for the Boeing Aerospace Company for the assembly of EMI proof electrical connectors for the MX Missile (Peace Keeper Missile).

1993

ELMAG MAGNEPULS machine designed and built for Boeing Georgia, Inc. for the assembly of Torque Tubes for the Boeing 777, 747, and 737 airplanes.
